Instructions
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, then set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat together egg, milk and lemon paste.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just blended.
Spoon or pipe (see note) into each donut mold until no more than 2/3 full. Do not overfill--this rises a lot!
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes, until cooked through.
Mix glaze ingredients until smooth. Allow donuts to cool, then drizzle with glaze.

The size of donut pan will make a different in the number of donuts made. I spoon out and level flour. If you are a "scooper" a single cup will probably be about right. In a second batch I used white whole wheat flour and went with 1 cup plus 1 Tablespoon due to the heavier flour. You can spoon the batter into the pan, but piping (without a tip) was much easier. Since the batter isn't super thick you will need to pinch/fold shut the piping bag before filling. If you don't have a piping bag, you can fill a zip loc bag then cut off a corner.
