I don’t know who put Margarita Day in February. It seems a silly time to be making a fruity drink that feels destined for a celebrations on the patio. On the other hand, maybe it was a stroke of genius given the winter fatigue that tends to strike right around now! Frozen Peach Margaritas are a great twist on the classic cocktail. The sweet taste of peaches is perfect any season. Alcohol free option too.

How to Make Frozen Peach Margaritas (including alcohol-free)

This drink is super easy to make. You just put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

If you want to serve alcohol-free Frozen Peach Margaritas, just leave out the Tequila and Cointreau and use ¼ cup orange juice per drink instead.

Any time of the year!

A tasty frozen peach margarita made with fresh or frozen peaches--how often does an alcoholic beverage have a serving of fruit!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 peach pitted (you do not need to peel it) plus a handful of ice cubes OR a handful of frozen peach slices (about 5 oz) and 1 T water
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce Triple Sec or Cointreau or other orange flavored liqueur
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar or other sweetener, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Add additional water or ice if needed for good consistency.
  • Taste and adjust sweetener. Serve.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic peach margarita, you can substitute orange juice for the tequila and cointreau.
