Easy. Just mix a few ingredients in a shaker and pour. How nice is that!
Fun. I like beer and wine as much as the next guy but there’s something special about a tasty martini. Even better if it’s seasonal like this tropical Pineapple Martini!

Step by Step Overview
Place ingredients and a handful of ice in a shaker.

Shake, then pour into a martini glass.

Consider garnishing with a slice of lime or pineapple.

Variations
This has about 6 ounces of liquid and should fit a medium martini glass. If you want to fill a large martini glass, I’d encourage you to top with sparkling water or white soda. Filling the glass by doubling the size of the drink will get your guests inebriated pretty fast, so is not recommended!
If you’d like to do a mocktail version (a Tropical Pineapple Mocktail) omit the vodka and Cointreau and add 1 1/2 ounces of orange juice instead.
For a hint of pina colada flavor, you can use malibu rum in place of the vodka.
And for anothere great summer beverages, try my Tropical White Wine Sangria.

Tips & FAQs
Most of the recipes I saw online used less pineapple juice and more alcohol. I wanted to clearly taste like pineapple (it is a pineapple martini after all) so I increased the juice. Don’t worry, it still has broad tropical vibes as well!
I have a set of measuring cups that has a 1/8 cup sized cup, which is also equivalent to 1 ounce or 2 Tablespoons. I love this because it’s perfect for cutting recipes in half and also for making drinks. So instead of grabbing a shot glass now, I usually just get out my measuring cups!
Per Wikipedia, “Pineapples grow as a small shrub; the individual flowers of the unpollinated plant fuse to form a multiple fruit.”

When we visited Hawaii a couple years ago we got to tour a beautiful pineapple farm and see the plants in all stages of growth from just past a flower (above) to ready to harvest (below).
